Artemeida is the solo project of saxophonist, Irina Tanaeva. Irina is based in Moscow, Russia, where she performs with the band“Moscow Noise Manufactory”. “Radio Lyric Irina” is the follow up from her EP “Experimental Methods of Disposal of the Past”, released in 2020.

“Radio Lyric Irina” was conceived during the COVID lockdown in 2020 expressing very personal feelings of unease and confusion.“My goal was to make a dance mix with an experimental noise sound. Sound as a symbol of the unusual feeling of reality around. For a long time in my life, I didn't want to accept my female manifestations of feelings and show them in my music. This album is about accepting yourself and expressing your emotionality and lyricism.”

Irina’s concepts for “Radio Lyric Irina” were inspired by her favorite artists Moby and Colin Stetson.
